When you donate to watch the film, you help support the following project:

Rongoā Māori Healers and Elders

Mauri follows Māori elders and healers carrying forward the living traditions of Rongoā Māori in Aotearoa, present-day New Zealand. Rongoā Māori is an ancestral healing system that is transmitted across generations and woven into daily life, ceremony, and care for communities.

As part of SAND’s reciprocity commitment, we are directing $10,000–$15,000 to the Māori elders and healers featured in the film. Funds will be used to support the long arc of Rongoā Māori, as determined by the community and in their own time.

Reciprocity funds will be used to support:

  • Immediate needs that arise within the community
  • Cultural and ceremonial events
  • Spaces for community connection and knowledge sharing

Through their teachings and practice, Māori elders and healers are keeping sacred healing alive in the face of colonization and extraction.

For larger gifts or to contribute by check/bank transfer, contact us at support@scienceandnonduality.com. If contributions exceed $15,000, funds are shared across partner communities, in alignment with evolving needs and relationships.
